INTUIT PRESENTS FIRST SUPPLIER OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD TO ICON PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
HR Outsourcing Firm Honored at 2nd Annual Strategic Supplier/Alliance Summit for its Commitment to Proactive Cost-Savings Processes and Actions
Santa Clara, CA. May 20, 2009 – – Intuit Inc. presented ICon Professional Services with Intuit’s first Supplier Operational Excellence Award in recognition of the commitment and effort ICon put into helping Intuit reduce costs and manage staffing agencies and administrative processes for Intuit’s temporary employee and independent contractor programs. Intuit chose ICon from more than 200 of its suppliers.

Supplier partnerships are an important part of Intuit’s operations and in recognition of this, Intuit solicited nominations from business units and functional groups throughout the company for inclusion as candidates towards winning its first Supplier Operational Excellence Award. Intuit presented the award at its second annual Strategic Supplier / Alliance Summit held in Santa Clara, CA where it recognizes vendors, consultants, and end-user companies that provide high-quality customer experiences.
